MIlton had bigger plans
My wife "commissioned" me to do this for her friends new baby's room. I loved doing it.
I've been a little slack in posting because I've had a bunch of Christmas presents to make. I won't say who this one is for because they might be watching.
I drew this with IF in mind but of course never got around to actually posting it on IF.
I've completely re-worked my initial ideas for my son's Christmas picture book. Now its about a monster named Milton. Mainly because monsers are really fun to draw. Here's page one (at least the first version anyway, no text layed in yet).
Hmmm. supposed to be a river otter. I like stippling but I'm not sure if it works here.
I'm going to try to do a monster-a-day from now until halloween as a watercolor improvement exercise. We'll see if I can make it. I'll be uploading them to my Monsters set on Flickr.
Morning warm-up sketch. I'm really starting to like the Faber-Castell PITT brush pens.
